Today I am heading down to Birmingham, AL to deliver the Keynote Address on behlaf of SoundTree at the 2nd Annual Alabama TI:ME Chapter Conference on the UAB Campus. My good friend Scott Phillips is the President of the AL State Chapter of TI:ME and I was thrilled when he asked me to speak with the members of his chapter. Birmingham is a wonderful city (home of my favorite BBQ restaurant - Dreamland) and I am looking forward to speaking with the fine music educators of the state. My Keynote is titled New Trends in Music Technology - and I will be presenting a follow up session to explore further the direction that I believe music technology is steering music education. As always, a special landing page will be posted and I will be podcasting my session.
If you are around Birmingham, AL and have not yet registered for the conference, please do so! Registration will take place on-site and the registration fee is only $25 for TI:ME members. There are some great presentations scheduled. I hope to see you there!
