Music Technology in Education

I am currently sitting on the Amtrak Regional Express heading to Washington DC for the 2009 NECC Conference. SoundTree is exhibiting (Booth #846) and is a part of the Digital Playground - demonstrating the incredible SoundBeam device. I will also be presenting at the SIGMT Meeting on Tuesday evening as a part of the Music Technology Gathering. The meeting will take place from 4:45pm–6:15pm in Room WWCC 154 B. I always look forward to NECC. It is the largest gathering of educational technology professionals in the country, and I always find the sessions to be of the highest quality. There are hundreds and hundreds of vendors exhibiting, and it is great to get to see all of the new products that are available to educators. If you’ve never been, make arrangements to go next year in Denver. If you are at all interested in educational technology, it is the most important event of the year. I hope to see you there!
